I made this animation as an entry to the "World of Animation" contest, I had a short deadline of 2 weeks. 

"Calm" is a short animation that centers around a boat battling the stormy sea. "Calm" strives to send a message that every battle in our lives can be won, and that after every storm comes a calm. "Calm" attempts to highlight the use of visual effects, sound effects and setting to establish a cinematic atmosphere. With this animation I tried to depict an optimistic view on life and my way of thinking about the battles and the problems we face in everyday life, and that we need to face and conquer our own stormy seas.
