Cyberpunk Rodent

The scope of this project was to follow the character creation pipeline and learn new techniques and programs. I got the idea for this character after playing the game "Cyberpunk" from CD Projekt Red. The character depicts a cyberpunk rodent from a faraway future. This project has taken me through the steps of creating a character, from an idea to a concept and then to a finished model. With this project I have learned how to use multiple programs such as Marvelous Designer which I have used for designing the clothes and Keyshot which I have used for the final renders.
Programs used in this project: ZBrush, Maya, Marvelous Designer, Keyshot, Adobe Photoshop.
Ser Candle Wick

Ser Candle Wick is a character inspired from the medieval times but with a more fantastical twist, that of being a candle knight. I went from concept to character, starting from quick sketches and digital silhouettes to a finished character. I played a bit with the contrast of fantastical mixed with realism through the clothing design, the character has realistic medieval attire but is a fantastical sword wielding candle knight.
Nature Creature

This character is a concept character made for a small contest. The inspiration for this character came from real dinosaurs, specifically the Brachiosaurus species, and also from the Loch Ness monster. I used a mix of these two creatures for the body and for the face. This character depicts a dystopian dinosaur-like creature, roaming a version of earth that has been overtaken by nature.
Programs used in this project: ZBrush, Blender, Adobe Photoshop.
Matte-Painting

Matte-painting representing a dry meadow environment being covered in a giant's remains. For this project I have used the technique of matte-painting in order to achieve this concept in a short amount of time, I have used a 3D base and afterwards painted over it manually and with textures. The 3D base and some basic visualization materials were made in Modo.
Programs used in this project: Modo, Adobe Photoshop.
Underworld Creature

With this character concept I used the technique of painting over a 3D model. I've made the model in Blender and afterwards painted over it in Photoshop. I tried to go for a moody, dark character with an unsettling gaze.
Programs used in this project: Blender, Photoshop.
